CNIC Regional Offices enable improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and development of technical capabilities which automate processes or improve transparency for analytics and decision making. The CNIC N6 Network Administrator will provide technical support to Audio Visual (AV)/ Video Teleconference Center (VTC) systems.
This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Secret Clearance
In this role, you will:
Provide support in maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering AV/VTC and network systems, sub-systems and components.
Continuously check all currently used AV/VTC and network infrastructure systems vendor supportability status, particularly End Of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS), and provide the necessary recommendations on how to minimize or avoid any EOL or EOS issues.
Acquire and maintain the needed accounts to download and or upgrade AV/VTC and network device operating systems or firmware.
Schedule and perform patching or upgrade down time during times when users are not impacted.
Coordinate with various stake holders in support of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrade and administration of AV/VTC and network systems.
Provide administrative support to include scheduling of CLASSIFIED and UNCLASSIFIED meetings and conference rooms and other spaces, as required.
Ensure that AV/VTC and network equipment for meetings are configured, tested, and ready for operation prior to the scheduled time of the VTC session.
Support the development, design, configuration/setup, test, maintenance, and upgrade of Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS) or Storage Area Networks (SAN), Site to Site Virtual Private Networks (S2S VPN) and/or remote to site VPN, network monitoring solutions using Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) poll, SNMP traps or other protocols used for network monitoring.
Support the implementation, configuration/setup, test, maintenance and upgrade of firewalls, IDS, a Failover Network (FN) or Disaster Recovery Network (DRN).
Test all designs, configurations or setup and ensure that it meets established Service Level Agreements (SLA's) prior to rolling into production.
Act as the backup to the Network Administrator in providing PAC STAR support.
Provide other assistance to AV/VTC and network installers as required.
Provide training and documentation support as required.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active DoD SECRET security clearance
An up to date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of experience in technical training related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline
Or a Graduate degree and 4 years of relevant experience
Or a Doctorate degree with 3 years of relevant experience
Hands-on experience with minimum three (3) of the following four (4) areas;
Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training
Ability to troubleshoot Cisco Network switches/hardware
Ability to run ACAS scans and complete DISA STIG’s on all network devices and to remediate inconsistencies identified
Ability to reconcile Cat 1 and Cat 2 weaknesses identified during scanning/STIGing

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $67,889.77 to $113,149.62; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
