What you will do
The role of the Senior Manager is to apply strategic consulting expertise in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing and technology to take GEP to the next level. You will help drive our services and shape the future of our company!
Contributing to the development and execution of the global strategy for the procurement consultancy practice
Owning client relationships and satisfaction levels
Leading team thinking and efforts to ensure project/program objectives are being achieved
Developing and coaching team members
Contributing to team understanding of client culture
Identifying new business opportunities and supporting the Programme Manager/BD in efforts to expand client relationship
Managing multiple projects concurrently and delivering consistent positive results
Developing sourcing strategies & processes in line with client’s business goals & policies
Interfacing with client to understand their sourcing and procurement requirements
Developing sound recommendations contributing to program objectives (cost savings, SLAs, Transformation etc)
Leading sourcing, RFQ events, auctions, supplier management and negotiations
Creatively using data sources to develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyses
Delivering presentations and communicating confidently with the client
What you should bring
7+ years of management consulting experience OR a combination of consultancy and industry experience
Demonstrated leadership ability
Outstanding client management skills
Business problem solving skills with strong analytical and reporting skills
Excellent presentation skills
Business Development potential
Ability to travel 30% of the time
Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX etc., a PLUS
Fluency in German is mandatory
