Description:

The Business & Leadership Studies Program at Tulane University's School of Professional Advancement (SoPA) seeks qualified individuals for its part-time Adjunct Lecturer pool and welcomes applicants at any time. The specific courses involved will vary from semester to semester; openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis depending on department teaching needs. SoPA courses may be taught at the Uptown campus, Elmwood campus, or online.

The anticipated need is for adjunct lecturers to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business & Leadership Studies that may include but are not limited to:

Accounting

Economics

Business Writing and Oral Communications

Business Statistics

Management

Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development

Business Ethics

Human Resource Development

Compensation & Benefits

Real Estate Practices

Business Law

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

3 to 5 years of professional experience directly related to the proposed area of teaching

Ph D., J.D., MBA, or other Masters-level degree is preferred.

University-level teaching experience, in online or on-ground format, is preferred
