Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality one-on-one and small group instruction to students. Follow guidelines and current tutoring philosophy including the pursuit of CRLA certification. Communicate with receptionists and lead tutors and department coordinator. Conduct small workshops. Provide clerical assistance to lead tutors. Assist greeter with daily duties including close attention to accurate data collection.Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in relevant area required; M.S. in Computer Science preferred. Teaching/tutoring experience in computer science field at high school level or college level preferred.Qualifications:

Tutors must be sensitive to the needs of students at all levels. They will need to be able to coordinate efforts with other tutors/staff members and have an excellent work ethic. Tutors must be willing to work in-person per college guidelines; online tutoring skills and ability to use technology expected. Broad range of computer science skills needed.Position Status:

Part TimeHours:

Dependent on scheduling needs. Tutoring hours will vary between 10 AM and 7 PM, MTWR as needed. Tutoring will be delivered on campus both in-person and online.

Position includes opportunity to continue during subsequent semesters, including summer and fall semesters; days and times are subject to change, but flexible according to availability.Salary/Wage:
