Machine Operator

Opsource of Spartanburg is partnering with a leading snack food company to bring you an exciting opportunity to join their team! Our client is a well-established company in the snack food industry, committed to providing high-quality products to their customers. We're looking for Machine Operator who's reliable and detail-oriented. Must submit resume for consideration.

7:15a - 6p (sometimes 7p)

Pay for this position:

$18.00

Job Duties for this position:

Gathering correct film rolls needed for the day’s production.

Load the packaging film into the machine and adjust the machine settings appropriate for that product; run test bags until settings are correct.

Continually monitor several machines simultaneously for proper operation.

Make adjustments to settings as needed.

Monitor the flow of product from the cook room to ensure the correct amount of product is produced with minimal overages and shortages.

Communicate frequently with the fryer operators and the palletizers via radio.

Keep your work area neat and free of debris during operating hours.

Return unused film rolls to their correct storage area.

Qualifications for this position:

Must be energetic, interested, have good communication skills, want to learn and grow with the job, and be a team player - willing to do whatever is needed to get product produced correctly and efficiently.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

At times you will be required to pack boxes, keep production area clean, or perform other packaging-related tasks as needed.

Attention to detail, pride in your work, positive attitude, good attendance, and reliable transportation REQUIRED.
