Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a reputable manufacturer to hire a Human Resource Generalist. This on-site role supports HR operations at either the Hudson, WI facility and plays a key role in fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
What You'll Do:Recruitment & Onboarding
Post and track job openings on internal/external platforms
Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and support hiring decisions
Facilitate a seamless onboarding and orientation process
Represent the company at job fairs and recruiting eventsEmployee Relations & Engagement
Serve as a resource for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
Provide support and guidance to employees and supervisors
Assist with employee engagement efforts such as surveys and action plansHR Administration & Compliance
Maintain organized HR records, personnel files, and compliance documentation
Process employee transactions (hiring, terminations, promotions, etc.)
Ensure compliance with employment laws including FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, and EEOC
Support internal audits and policy reviewsTraining & Development
Assist in coordinating training sessions and performance management activities
Track performance reviews and support employee development initiativesEmployer Branding & Communications
Help manage employer branding and social media presence
Contribute to planning employee events and recognition programsReporting & Systems
Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems
Prepare HR reports, surveys, and data insights for leadershipQualifications:Education:
Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferredExperience:
2–5 years of HR generalist experience preferred; manufacturing background a plusSkills:
Familiarity with employment law and HR best practices
Payroll and benefits administration experience
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS system experience a plus
