Workday Systems Analyst (Finance)

Our client is looking for Workday Systems Analyst located in Metro Detroit

Position Details:

Serve as a Workday subject matter expert, supporting finance processes throughout the organization.

Collaborate with business partners to design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in Workday that facilitate informed decision making.

Develop and configure Workday forms to streamline business processes.

Configure, test, document, and implement changes within Workday financial systems.

Document and analyze finance processes to identify opportunities for optimization.

Create comprehensive training materials and conduct training sessions for Workday users.

Respond promptly to requests for financial reports and data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

Troubleshoot and resolve Workday system issues reported by team members.

Manipulate and analyze large datasets in Workday to derive actionable insights.

Manage Workday system security and ensure proper access provisioning.

Conduct regular audits of Workday system access to maintain security compliance.

Collaborate effectively with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues.

Build strong relationships with Workday vendors and stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Ensure all activities adhere to audit requirements and are well-documented.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, information technology or related degree preferred

Must have a high sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize.

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members, business leaders and vendors

Strong communication, collaboration, analytical and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience using financial or HR systems

Experience using Excel, Access, or Power BI

Out-of-the-box thinker with a strong we ll figure it out attitude and sense of curiosity

Proactively seeks out opportunities and efficiencies
