Chief Finance Officer - Academy Trust - Must be a Qualified Accountant
The Education Network is currently recruiting for a Chief Finance Officer to join an Ofsted Good school. We are looking for an individual with experience managing Finance, Health & Safety, Facilities, and the day-to-day running of the finance support team. The school requires a Chief Finance Officer with a track record of achieving excellence, always seeking ways to excel and generate solid ROI. This role is full-time in a school setting, with no hybrid or WFH options.
This school seeks a Chief Finance Officer eager to become part of a good SLT. You will report directly to the Executive Headteacher and will have full autonomy. This is an excellent opportunity to join an Outstanding Trust with a strong track record. Candidates must have school-based experience and be comfortable working collaboratively with the SLT.
Job Role:
Lead and manage Finance, Facilities, and Admin Support
Identify and raise funding and grants for the Academy Trust and develop revenue streams
Deliver CPD and training to staff
Attend SLT and management meetings
Oversee all financial aspects of the schools within the Trust
Promote high standards for financial performance across the Trust
Support the Administration and Office Team
Represent finance management at school level
Engage with external bodies, Trustees, and Governors
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Accountant
Proven track record of high standards
Experience leading a successful team
Desire to improve standards at school level
Strong leadership and management skills
Experience as a Finance Manager in a regulated setting (School, Healthcare, Medical, FE)
