We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Technical Recruiter to join our People Team. This isn’t just a sourcing role—you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of a mission-driven R&D organization that's tackling some of the toughest technical challenges in public safety. Your work will connect brilliant minds with impactful missions, directly influencing how our teams grow and thrive. From pioneering new AI tools to building scalable software that first responders depend on, you’ll help bring in the talent that powers it all.

What You’ll Do

If you were part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week:

Led a search for backend engineers skilled in distributed systems to support new AI-enabled features

Partnered with hiring managers in Engineering and Product to calibrate on candidate profiles and interview process design

Attended a virtual tech meetup to promote Mark43’s brand and connect with prospective candidates

Collaborated with the Marketing team to draft a blog post showcasing Mark43's impact in public safety tech

Screened and engaged a slate of candidates with backgrounds in cybersecurity for our growing Information Security team

Utilized sourcing tools and platforms to build a long-term talent pipeline across key technical disciplines

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter with 3+ years of experience in a high-growth software environment. You should have a track record of hiring for technical roles such as software engineers, product managers, and information security specialists. Familiarity with enterprise software and a deep understanding of what drives successful technical teams will help you thrive in this role.

You should also have strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and be comfortable working within Greenhouse, our preferred applicant tracking system.

Our team is based in New York City. This role follows a hybrid model, with the expectation of being in our NYC office 1–2 days per week.
