Geriatrics Physician Assistant

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE APRN or PA for our Medicare Clinic in Springfield, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.Practice HighlightsWell established, growing practice with great community support.Monday - Friday weekly schedule Minimal call - phone call only, no call time is spent coming into the clinic. Call is to cover your own patients only.Support staff available for each providerOn-site access for labs, X-rays, and DEXA scans.MRI and CT Scans both available nearby within the communityEPIC EMRPosition RequirementsUnrestrictive Illinois license prior to startBoard Certified or Board Eligibility

Education Qualifications

Master's degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field is required.

Bachelor's degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience Qualifications

5 years of experience is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of practice is required.

Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or

Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Certification by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants is preferred.

DEA license is preferred.
