A manufacturing company is seeking an individual to operate secondary machines after set-up has been completed. This is a second shift position; however, training will be done on first shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
Complete training and understand that all inspections including in-process inspection check sheets must be completed on time
Tend to machines, inspect parts, shut off machine, and enter results in computer system
Attempt common troubleshooting, machine adjustments, maintain lubrication system, and perform minor daily maintenance
Read blueprints
Meet engineering standards for quality, productivity, and tool usage, be familiar with IS09001/IATF16949 procedures, understand and comply with bin procedures, and costs relative to scrap
Maintain work area and machine clean and safe
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Must have a High school Diploma or GED
Must have a mechanical aptitude
Must be familiar with out-of-control conditions and responses
Must be able to identify potential problems by reviewing progressions
Must be computer literate
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Must have knowledge of the lock out/tag out procedure and plant and environmental safety concepts
Must have a strong work ethic and a positive team environment
