QHSSE Coordinator

Bureau Veritas Iraq is looking for a talented QHSSE Coordinator to join our team in Basra.

The QHSSE Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and programs in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring QHSSE policies, procedures, and standards.

• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

• Support incident and accident investigations and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.

• Maintain QHSSE records and reports, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.

• Deliver QHSSE training and awareness sessions to employees and contractors.

• Coordinate risk assessments and support the implementation of control measures.

• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across all sites and operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a QHSSE role, preferably in Oil and Gas sector

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is an advantage.

• Proficiency in MS Office and QHSSE reporting tools.
