Now Hiring - Experienced Lead Operator

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate Blown Film Extrusion equipment in manufacture of trash can liners.

Operate bag making equipment used in the production of plastic bags.

Prepare for and perform changeovers of products being manufactured.

Perform standard Preventative Maintenance of bag making and extrusion equipment, to include screen changes, blade changes and teflon tape replacement.

Monitor quality and output standards of production lines

Responsible for entering production and scrap in system

Wrap, weigh and secure production pallets

Executes and enforces safety policies and procedures

Report equipment problems to supervisors and maintenance

Support breaks, meal periods and shift changeovers

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications, skills, knowledge:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience in manufacturing

Basic computer skills preferred

Organization and good communication required

Must have 3+ years of machine operator experience

Should be able to operate Glouster 418 Type Bag Machines.

Should be able to Operate CMD Rotary Bag Machines and Winders.

Familiar with the operation of polyethelene resin conveying and blending equipment.

Experience with Blown Film Extrusion equipment

Salary info:

$21 - $30 / hr
