Job Summary

The Machine Operator will be working from 4:00pm - 12:00am ET and is responsible for operating and maintaining various machines—slitter, slotter, and band saw—to resize and process cardboard boxes and totes. This role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, precision in handling and cutting materials, and the ability to maintain a clean and efficient work environment. Operators work closely with team members to ensure high-quality output and production goals.

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor slitter, slotter, and band saw machines to cut cardboard and totes according to specifications.

Perform daily safety checks, follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and conduct routine maintenance and adjustments.

Measure and inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, reporting any defects or machine malfunctions.

Stack, label, and organize cut materials neatly on pallets for further processing or shipment.

Maintain a clean, safe, and stocked work area, separating recyclable materials and completing cleaning tasks as needed.

Accurately complete and submit daily production logs and maintenance records.
