TransForce is hiring full-time Local CDL A Drivers in Ladson, SC. Earn $29/hour plus overtime after 40 hours with steady local routes, consistent hours, and excellent benefits. Drivers with additional endorsements may qualify for higher pay.
Position Highlights:
Pay: $29 per hour + overtime after 40 hours.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (40-50 hours per week)
Routes: Local container and dry van deliveries (no-touch, drop-and-hook)
Equipment: Manual transmission trucks (port experience required)
Freight: Drayage and dry goods
Key Responsibilities:
Freight Handling: No-touch, drop-and-hook container and dry van deliveries
Route Management: Operate within local routes while ensuring timely and safe deliveries
Safety & Compliance: Follow DOT regulations and client-specific safety guidelines
Equipment Use: Safely operate manual transmission trucks for container and dry van work
Requirements:
CDL License: Valid Class A CDL
Endorsements:
TWIC required (must have prior to start)
Hazmat must be obtained within 30 days of hire
Experience: Previous container/port experience required
Equipment Use: Ability to operate manual transmission trucks
Clean Record:
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Clean Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) report
Stable work history (no job hoppers)
