Market leading manufacturer of built-to-order, high reliability, precision products for the defense and oil & gas industries has retained us to find a site Continuous Improvement Manager. In this important position, you will:

Reduce past due orders by 50%;

Define the KPIs for the organization that will achieve this objective;

Drive the actions that will close KPI gaps;

Teach and mentor others on appropriate problem solving tools to sustain gains, especially your replacement;

Manage 1 direct report;

Continue to learn and grow as you collaborate with other site Continuous Improvement Leaders and world-class outside consultants.

Qualifications:

BS (Engineering highly preferred)

MS (highly preferred)

10 years of manufacturing experience (high mix, low volume environment preferred)

Proven leader and developer of people

Lean Manufacturing tools trained

Track record of using Lean tools to move the needle, i.e. made $, saved $, reduced, improved
