Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Use applicant tracking system to respond to potential employees who meet DOT and company standards
Cold call and respond to calls quickly
Pre-screen potential applicants
Inform applicants about our operations and the benefits we offer
Schedule driver orientations and training
Run reports such as background checks MVR and DAC reports as well as other administrative duties
Utilize social media platforms and other search engines to generate leads
Qualifications:
Qualifications
A Successful Recruiter must consistently demonstrate the company’s Mission and Values. They must have good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, drivers and other team members in person and on the telephone. They must be customer service-oriented as well as team-oriented and must have good organizational skills. A successful Recruiter must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Finally, they must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed to including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Have knowledge of MVR and DAC reports
1-3 years of experience in transportation, recruiting, or safety required
Microsoft Office knowledge
Previous work experience in customer service or sales is preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be detail oriented and have a great interpersonal skill
Willing to be flexible to train in additional operations capacities including Driver Management and Load Planning.
A strong sense of urgency to take care of the needs of operations.
A desire to build lasting relationships with customers and develop relationships with our Drivers.
