Construction Project Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Project Superintendent to oversee and manage all on-site construction activities. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction management, site supervision, and project coordination.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily construction operations and ensure all tasks align with project plans and schedules.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and labor crews on-site.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.

Work closely with the Project Manager, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and streamline workflows.

Prepare and submit daily progress reports, logs, and documentation.

Monitor and control project costs, labor, and materials to prevent overruns.

Enforce and uphold OSHA safety standards and ensure all workers follow proper procedures.

Identify and mitigate potential risks and delays to keep projects on track.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient job site.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience managing subcontractors and vendors in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools.

OSHA certification and familiarity with workplace safety regulations.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.

Ability to work on-site and travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).

Experience with commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.

Salary depedent on experience; prefered 5 years + experience with $10,000,000.00USD construction projects
