What will you get out of the Internship?
The Moving4Ward Internship Program has been developed to provide students with a fun yet rewarding summer through hands-on experience and numerous opportunities to network with employees in the organization. The internship position is meant to provide projects focusing on ways to propel Orthofix forward, while also advancing the student’s career. Successful candidates for this internship position will gain valuable experience in the medical device industry, which could shape career decisions and create future employment opportunities. In this role, the student will work with the Orthopedics Marketing Team focused on providing innovative medical device solutions to orthopedic surgeons in foot & ankle, limb reconstruction, and pediatrics.
Potential Projects:
Help create new collateral, promotional, and demonstration materials to support product launches or marketing campaigns.
Help develop tools to track customer engagements and collect voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback.
Perform research and analysis on US market segments to help define marketing strategy.
Participate in surgeon customer-involved discussions and activities as part of gathering VOC feedback.
Support Medical Education and Sales Training activities such as workshops, labs, or seminars.
Student Eligibility:
In order to qualify for this Intern opportunity, the student must:
Have the legal right to work in the US.
Be currently enrolled at an accredited university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
Be in excellent academic standing, Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higher.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Demonstrate creativity and be self-motivated along with the ability to multi-task across different projects.
Have knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
