About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical contractor to support a healthcare mapping project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Excel modeling, working with healthcare claims data, and familiarity with healthcare coding systems. You will play a critical role in analyzing data, identifying key accounts for specific drugs, and offering strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and apply healthcare code systems (e.g., CPT, ICD, DRG, HCPCS) in data analysis.
Analyze large sets of healthcare claims data to identify patterns, trends, and relevant insights.
Cross-check, clean, and validate data with a high level of attention to detail.
Build and maintain Excel-based models to support account geo-mapping and volume segmentation by drug.
Conduct literature reviews and other secondary research on treatment guidelines and real-world drug utilization trends.
Support the team in synthesizing findings and preparing outputs for internal and client-facing use.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project milestones.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with advanced Excel modeling (e.g., pivot tables, lookup functions, complex formulas).
Strong analytical skills and prior experience working with healthcare claims or utilization data.
Familiarity with healthcare code systems (CPT, ICD, DRG, etc.) is required.
Experience working on healthcare consulting, analytics, or market research projects.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Comfortable working independently and managing timelines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Data Science, Business, or related field. Advanced degree a plus.
