CNC Machinist
A manufacturing company in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating a variety of CNC machines to produce precision parts to exact specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in machining processes, and committed to maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
Set up, program, and operate CNC equipment including vertical mills, bar feeds, shuttle systems, and 5-axis machines
Select and install appropriate tooling based on job specifications
Manufacture components to precise tolerances and quality standards
Interpret setup sheets and technical drawings to determine machining sequence and setup requirements
Install and secure cutting tools in machine spindles using appropriate tools and methods
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges
Requirements of the CNC Machinist
Proven experience in CNC machining, including setup and operation
Familiarity with G-code programming and 5-axis machining is a plus
Strong understanding of machining principles and measuring tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
1st shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $30.00 - $40.00 an hour, based on experience
