Small Engine Equipment Mechanic

Location: Coral Springs, FL

We are looking for an Experienced Small Engine Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Coral Springs, FL. The ideal candidate will excel in performing repairs on equipment with 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, with expertise in maintaining and servicing commercial and residential lawn care equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on small engine equipment, including 2-stroke and 4-stroke machinery.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.

Conduct routine inspections to identify potential faults and maintain optimal equipment performance.

Repair various equipment such as walk-behind, stand-on, riders, large cut, and finishing mowers.

Operate hand tools and welding equipment for repair tasks.

Maintain excellent communication and customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mechanic or Service Technician working with commercial/residential lawn mowers and hand-held lawn care equipment.

Strong expertise in hydraulic and electrical systems.

Prior experience repairing turf equipment, snow blowers, and generators (preferred).

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.

Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Must have your own set of tools.

Ability to commute to or relocate to Coral Springs, FL 33065 before starting work.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $22 - $30/hour (based on experience, certifications, and qualifications).

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Overtime is available and paid after 40 hours.
