Infrastructure DevOps Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY
As an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in the deployment, optimization, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and internal systems. You thrive on solving complex technical problems, digging deep to uncover root causes, and translating technical concepts into clear communication. This role requires strong collaboration across development, QA, and data teams, with a focus on high-performance systems in cloud-native environments.

Supervises: N/A
Department: Software Engineering
Travel Required: 10% as needed
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and highly available
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
DevOps & Automation
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Manage Kubernetes clusters in Azure, AWS
Automate infrastructure deployment and application delivery
Monitoring & Performance
Build and maintain monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Zabbix)
Analyze logs and performance metrics to proactively improve system reliability
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with development, QA, and data teams to support project goals
Clearly articulate technical issues and solutions to diverse audiences
System Administration & Support
Deploy and maintain internal systems (networking, storage, servers)
Manage RedHat/Oracle Linux systems for both internal and customer use

Education & Experience
Consideration will be given to candidates with a two-year degree, four-year degree, certification, or relevant experience. A degree is not required in lieu of experience.
Technical Skills:
· Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with Azure and AWS.
· Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Argo CD, and Flux.
· Configuration Management: Familiarity with RedHat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform.
· Linux System Administration: RedHat preferred.
· Scripting Skills: Strong skills in Bash, Python, and Ansible.
· Virtualization: Experience with VMware vSphere, SAN/NAS storage.
· Networking: Knowledge of VLANs, switches, and firewalls.
· CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
· System Monitoring: Experience with SNMP, SysLog, Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
Capabilities
· Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
· Champion DevOps best practices across teams
· Maintain high availability and fault tolerance
· Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives
· Provide occasional after-hours support and travel to client sites (primarily within Ohio
