Now hiring for Building Engineers / Building Facility Managers in Denver, CO.

1st shift 5:30am - 2:00pm Monday – Friday

Pay Range DOE: $57,443 - $68,933/annually

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Conduct daily/weekly routine inspections of buildings, parking lots, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.

Provide general preventive and repair maintenance on the mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, including normal lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts (such as filters, indicator lights, etc.), and periodic testing of the equipment. Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems required.

Perform and/or oversee HVAC, water treatment and testing, electrical and plumbing repair and troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot, evaluate and recommend equipment/service upgrades.

Order parts and supplies as needed, and maintain stock and inventory control.

Work with Management in planning and controlling annual and capital budgets.

Prepare and maintain maintenance work order logs and other records. Coordinate maintenance efforts with service providers. Maintain records on machinery and equipment to accurately reflect maintenance, repairs and history.

Coordinate and manage building systems and monitor equipment warranty period.

Prepare and provide sustainability reports to track building systems’ performance and costs.

Assist custodial operations during snow and ice clearing operations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associate’s degree or other relevant education and experience

Valid Colorado Driver License with clean driving records for a minimum of five (5) years

Minimum of five (5) years experience in building operations, engineering and equipment and systems maintenance

Ability to work in a team or independently

Proficient in English, written and verbal

Be able to pass a criminal background check and MVR

Physical Requirements: Conducting repetitious hand/elbow/arm movement, lifting/carrying 50lbs on regular basis, weights in excess of 50 lbs with assistance, pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, overhead reaching, kneeling, stooping, walking/standing for full shift, climbing, etc.

Environmental Requirements: Working indoors and outdoors, working with/around/or have exposure to chemicals, dust, indoor/outdoor allergens, insects, rodents, etc.
