Position Summary
The Coordinator, Account Management will serve as a key liaison between internal teams, pharmacies, and sales partners, providing exceptional service and support across various communication channels. This role requires managing multiple customer accounts, participating in cross-functional meetings, and ensuring timely routing and monitoring of intake forms related to Managed Care solutions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with a strong customer service mindset and a background in managed care, pharmacy, or reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for Managed Care on conference calls with pharmacy chains and buying groups
Route and monitor intake forms accurately and efficiently
Manage 10–15 active customer cases simultaneously, ensuring timely updates and resolution
Respond to 15–20 inbound calls daily from pharmacies and internal Sales Team members
Perform customer outreach via phone, email, live chat, and through intake forms
Build rapport and foster collaborative relationships with Sales teams and pharmacy clients
Attend and actively participate in daily team huddles and cross-departmental meetings
Maintain clear and detailed documentation of customer interactions and case progress
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
1–3 years of customer service or account management experience preferred
Experience in managed care, reimbursement, or retail/in-store pharmacy is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates a pleasant, patient, and customer-focused attitude
Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
