CNC Programmer – 1st Shift Full-Time
We’re currently hiring a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team on 1st shift. In this role, you will program and operate CNC milling machines, working on high-precision components while contributing to continuous improvements in machining processes and tooling. ️ Pay: $34-$39/hour, depending on experience and skill level
Key Responsibilities:
Program CNC mills using MasterCAM based on blueprints, CAD models, and engineering specifications
Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including loading/unloading materials and monitoring runs
Align and indicate fixtures, vices, and workholding to ensure proper part positioning
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Set up tooling, select cutters, and make recommendations to optimize machining performance
Provide input on tool paths, programming strategy, and process improvements
Work with engineering and machinist teams to support prototyping and small-batch production
Follow all safety procedures and standard shop practices
Maintain an organized and clean work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in programming of CNC 5-axis mills
Strong proficiency with MasterCAM programming and G-code editing
Experience setting up and running complex, tight-tolerance parts
Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and apply GD&T
Skilled in fixture setup, clamping, and part alignment
Familiar with prototyping, short-run machining, and optimizing cycle times
Highly motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
