Warehouse General Laborer

Job Description

ob Summary:

The General Laborer supports warehouse operations by performing a variety of manual tasks including loading, unloading, organizing, and maintaining inventory. This role is vital to ensuring efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Loading & Unloading:

Load and unload materials from trucks or containers using manual labor or equipment like pallet jacks.

Material Handling:

Move products throughout the warehouse and prepare orders for shipping or receiving.

Inventory Support:

Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and replenishment.

Packing & Labeling:

Pack products securely, label boxes correctly, and prepare shipments in a timely manner.

Warehouse Maintenance:

Sweep, clean, and keep the workspace organized and free of hazards.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all company safety procedures and report any issues or injuries immediately.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical labor for extended periods.

Basic math and reading skills.

Prior warehouse or general labor experience is a plus but not required.

Forklift certification (optional but beneficial).

Work Environment:

Warehouse setting with varying temperatures.
