Break Press Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications

- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances for each job

- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate measurements

- Select and install appropriate tooling for each job

- Safely operate hand tools and power tools to assemble and fabricate sheet metal components

- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications

Skills:

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation

- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques

- Experience operating press brake machines and other related equipment

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers

- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively

- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
