Distribution Manager Trainee Position Summary:

Durafit Seat Covers is seeking a motivated and adaptable Distribution Manager Trainee to join our team in Mansfield, Texas. As a Distribution Manager Trainee, you will learn all aspects of our distribution center operations, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and team supervision. This hands-on training program will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful Distribution Manager within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Participate in a comprehensive training program covering inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and team supervision.

Learn and become proficient in the use of our inventory management software and systems.

Assist in monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment and effective stock rotation for our custom-fit seat cover products.

Collaborate with distribution center staff to optimize operational processes and improve overall efficiency.

Develop an understanding of shipping and receiving procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to reduce costs and enhance distribution performance.

Participate in various projects related to distribution center management, as assigned by the Distribution Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or a degree in a related field is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods as needed.

Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
