Job Description

Position Summary:

The Clinical Liaison (CADC) serves as a bridge between external referral sources, clients, and the internal clinical team to ensure seamless admissions, coordinated care, and ongoing communication throughout the treatment process. This role supports client engagement, promotes continuity of care, and upholds the organization’s standards of quality, ethical, and client-centered services. The ideal candidate is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with strong interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support counselors in preparing and completing treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments.

Facilitate counselor's meetings.

Sign documentation related to services, group attendance, and basic case records within CADC credential scope.

Lead or coordinate client case review meetings, orientation sessions, and service coordination huddles.

Conduct routine documentation audits to ensure timeliness and accuracy.

Attend Clinical Team Meetings

Serve as a communication bridge between counselors, clinical team, and external partners.

Qualifications:

CADC certification (Illinois) required and in good standing.

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.

2+ years of experience in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.

Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records systems.

Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance.Company Description
