Key Responsibilities for the position of Senior Manager – Sales Operations & Order Management:
Lead 3 Team Leaders and a wider team to deliver a smooth and efficient order-to-cash process across UK and EU retail accounts.
Own the end-to-end order lifecycle, including order creation, shipment, and processing, ensuring on-time delivery performance.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Sales, Supply Chain) to resolve operational issues and drive system improvement initiatives.
Monitor and analyse key metrics (On-Time delivery, Chargebacks, Penalties) to continuously improve customer experience and operational performance.
Identify and implement cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives to enhance revenue, reduce workload, and accelerate speed to market.
Manage retailer compliance processes, including handling chargebacks and working proactively to minimise retailer penalties.
Lead and support system enhancements, process testing, and new technology rollouts to drive efficiency and effectiveness across operations.
Skills & Experience Needed for the position of Senior Manager – Sales Operations & Order Management:
Strong leadership experience managing teams within order management, logistics, or retail operations.
Proven background working across the full order-to-cash cycle, with knowledge of EDI processes, order processing systems, and supply/demand collaboration.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using KPIs to drive process improvements.
Results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-moving, high-growth business.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Experience working on retailer optimisation initiatives would be a strong advantage.
