Portfolio Analyst

Galaxy Search Partners is working with a high-performing, Denver-based hedge fund to hire a Portfolio Analyst. This is a dynamic role where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of operational functions, from trade execution support and fund accounting to compliance, client service, and cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily trading activity and help reconcile positions across custodians and brokers.

Assist with fund and management company accounting processes alongside third-party administrators.

Organize and analyze portfolio data to support internal reporting and investment decisions.

Track and evaluate trade execution metrics, including errors.

Maintain compliance records and assist with regulatory updates and audit prep.

Contribute to CRM system maintenance, investor communications, and outreach efforts.

Assist in onboarding new investors and managing related documentation.

Liaise with fund administrators on both operational and investor-related matters.

Update and maintain investor materials with current performance data and firm statistics.

Collaborate on special projects and process improvements with the investment and operations teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

1–3 years of relevant experience in financial operations, fund accounting, or client service.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with Python, Salesforce, and QuickBooks is a bonus.
