Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer, you will be instrumental in creating visually stunning catalogs and marketing collateral that embody our brand identity and captivate our customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design product layouts, covers, brochures, and advertising materials that align with strategic goals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with marketing, product design, and business development teams to design catalogs, brochures, postcards, posters, window graphics, signage, and advertising within brand standards.

Manage and prioritize multiple complex, multi-page design projects simultaneously.

Share responsibility for the design and production of:

- 5 large catalogs (300–800+ pages each ; 2-year cycle).

- 14 supplements (64–160 pages each; 2-year cycle).

Create visually cohesive page designs highlighting product features and elevating the brand's presentation.

Work with photographers, retouchers, and product development teams to curate and place high-quality imagery.

Maintain and update catalog templates to ensure consistency and workflow efficiency.

Prepare print-ready files and manage pre-press processes to guarantee the highest production quality.

Travel to Toronto a minimum of four times per year (each trip lasting 1–2 weeks) for press checks, typically preceding major trade shows in January, April, June, and October.

Manage extensive product data and ensure content accuracy.

Proofread materials for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and brand voice.

Translate creative direction and business objectives into impactful visual solutions.

Present concepts and designs to stakeholders, route files for approvals, and organize final files for production partners.

Maintain accountability for the quality and consistency of all creative output.

Partner with marketing leads to explore new creative opportunities that grow our brands and excite customers.

Seek out initiatives to elevate brand presentation beyond assigned projects.

Position Requirements:

4+ years of relevant design experience.

Must be able to work in our Wappingers Falls, NY, office Monday through Friday.

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign (including parent pages, style sheets, tables, captions, and indexing).

Strong background in designing large, photo-driven publications with consistent typographic standards.

Keen eye for photo editing, cropping, and retouching.

Thorough understanding of pre-press processes and print production standards.

Press proofing experience required.

Ability to proofread layouts for accuracy and clarity.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with asset management and product data organization.

Bachelor's degree in graphic design (or equivalent professional experience).

4–6 weeks of travel per year for press checks and trade shows.

Experience in home décor, furniture, or lighting categories is a plus.

Digital/web design experience is a plus.

Solid knowledge of both digital and print production processes.

US citizen or permanent resident (no Visa sponsorship available).
