Our Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Group Lead to manage the Industrial Engineering and Design team based out of our Saskatoon and Regina offices.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for maintaining a skilled and competitive multi-disciplinary team; managing the size and make-up of the team to suit workload; developing and maintaining client relationships; implementing improvements and improving efficiency, and supervising the activities of the team in the execution of projects. In addition, you may take on the role of Project Manager for select projects.
A Day in the Life
Lead a team of multidisciplined engineers and designers in various small to medium sized projects for a variety of industrial clients
Provide leadership, guidance and direction to ensure projects are on schedule, budgets are controlled, and ultimately our clients are satisfied
Support the development and issuance of proposal to clients
Build business relationships with current and potential clients
Work with team members from various offices to strategically execute projects
Identify opportunities and pursue growth of the industrial sector
Provide mentoring to team members
Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline related to our service offerings (e.g. Mechanical, Chemical, Structural Engineering)
Must be registered, or eligible to register, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Saskatchewan
10+ years of relevant experience in managing multidisciplined engineering projects and teams
Knowledge of and experience with SK/Canadian engineering standards
Strong project management, technical and analytical skills
Strong technical writing skills; experienced in the preparation of correspondence, reports and proposals
Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to lead a team in a multi-disciplined environment
Proven leadership and mentorship experience and high levels of ability
Technical competency and strong attention to detail
