Position overview: Publicis Re:Sources is seeking an analytical and organized intern to work closely with the organization’s talented data privacy legal team 15 hours/week at our offices located at 35 W.
Wacker Drive, Chicago IL.
Schedule to be coordinated between the intern and the Assistant Chief Privacy Officer.
The individual will gain hands-on experience in privacy law and project management by working on real-world privacy challenges in the advertising industry.
Job requirements Currently pursuing a juris doctor (JD) degree at a Chicago based law school Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
Proficient using Westlaw and other legal research tools Benefits Project Management: Assist in managing privacy-related projects, including scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion.
Research: Conduct in-depth research on data protection laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
Summaries: Prepare clear and concise summaries of research findings to support the legal team’s decision-making processes.
Documentation: Assist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, procedures, and compliance documents.
Collaboration: Work closely with the legal team and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Support: Provide general administrative support to the privacy legal team as needed.
