As a Blender Operator, you will manufacture blend batches with active drug substances and blend them consistently. You will weigh and document the weights of raw materials, components, and product intermediates, and record operational parameters and steps performed in the batch record. Additionally, you will perform batch record accountability calculations, comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and safety policies while performing all job duties. Maintaining and cleaning manufacturing and production areas and equipment, and documenting work performed in appropriate logbooks, is also required.

Responsibilities

Manufacture blend batches with active drug substances.

Weigh and document weights of raw materials, components, and product intermediates.

Document operational parameters and steps performed in the batch record.

Perform batch record accountability calculations.

Comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and safety policies.

Maintain and clean manufacturing and production areas and equipment, and document work performed in appropriate logbooks.Essential Skills

Previous blending experience in a pharmaceutical environment.

Experience with mixing, blending, batching, production line, food industry, manufacturing environment, batch record, compounding, filling, and machine operation.

Ability to speak and write English effectively and complete batch record documentation.Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Open to candidates outside of the pharmaceutical industry with mixing/compounding experience, including those from the food industry.

Minimal math involved in the calculations as the 'recipe' is preformulated.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position operates in a sterile, cleanroom environment with air conditioning. We run three shifts: 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, 2nd shift from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6:30 am.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tamarac, Florida.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
