Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will perform basic quality checks on films, set brake control pressures, and thread webs through the machine. You will also remove finished rolls of laminated material, accurately record weights, footage counts, and times, and assist the operator with job changes. This role prepares you to become a Press Operator while maintaining the 7S standard during your shift.
Responsibilities
Perform basic quality checks on films
Set brake control pressures and thread webs through the machine
Lap and tape ends around take-up core
Remove finished rolls of laminated material using hoist or walk-around lift
Transport rolls to floor scales and accurately record weights, footage counts, times, etc.
Transfer rolls to designated storage areas
Assist operator with job changes as prescribed
Learn all facets of running the press to prepare for becoming a Press Operator
Maintain the 7S standard during your shift
Clean machine and area before startup
Review job card to determine any special laminating instructions, specifications, and quantities
Unload rolls from the machine and stage for logistics when production is finished
Maintain PMs on press and other equipment as needed using hand tools
Change or replace all necessary parts before the next runEssential Skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
