Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Performs a variety of duties in the set-up and operation of equipment as defined in the work instructions for each process.
Responsibilities
Review production schedules, process procedures, and specifications regarding the sequential start-up, operation, and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
Perform automated equipment set-up functions including the loading of electronic components, raw cards, feeders, fixtures, stencils, chemicals, etc.
Perform sequential start-up for automated equipment and all peripheral hardware.
Monitor the operation of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
Monitor the shelf-life usage of perishable chemicals and raw card assemblies.
Monitor quality levels of production on automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
Record data required for statistical process control or inventory management.
Perform sequential shutdown, including cleaning of automated equipment or peripheral hardware.
Monitor inventory levels of lineside stock.Essential Skills
Basic manufacturing line knowledge and participation in processes.
Ability to use tools required for electronic assembly, inspection, machine operations, and mechanical & electrical operations.
Proficient in data entry and software use.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with SMT, AOI, and warehouse operations.
Knowledge of color coding, component schematics, PCB loading, mechanical assembly, surface mount assembly.
Ability to inspect PCB loaded components and use measuring tools.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work requiring repetitive motion, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The role may require overtime and 2nd or 3rd shift assignments as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
