LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Senior Supply Planner for our client in the Dayton, NJ area. This direct hire role focuses on inventory management and will require approximately 20% travel both domestic and international. This position requires a strong background in supply chain planning as well as global import protocols and operations. Ideal candidates will have a minimum five years’ experience within Supply Chain planning most recently within a technology focused manufacturing environment, including being highly proficient in sourcing and demand planning. Successful candidates MUST be very open to change, have strong clear communication skills and the ability to ask open ended questions.
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE IN DRIVING S&OP PROCESS
Salary range: $80,000 to $85,000 DOE.
Responsibilities:
Oversee inventory levels to meet customer demands, recommend and execute product purchases based on demand inputs and vendor capacity.
Develop and strategize to optimize inventory resulting in improvements in days inventory outstanding as well as a reduction in backorders.
Issue purchase requisitions and tracking of conversions to vendor purchase orders in SAP.
Identify root causes of any Customer Service Rate (CSR) issues on a weekly basis and provide action items to the necessary planners.
Manage inventories across our distribution centers, create product transfers as needed and maintain adequate stock levels.
Oversee projects such as inventory liquidations.
Collaborate with analysts to complete inventory reports.
Collaborate with demand planners/analysts to forecast and prioritize demand when capacity is under pressure.
Oversee any seasonal system setup and line plans, work closely with stakeholders to achieve financial goals, and support S&OP supply review meetings as needed.
Investigate issues and opportunities to improve efficiency in supply chain performance.
Requirements:
Required - Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Industrial Engineering.
Proven progressive experience in driving S&OP processes.
Experience in leading a team and/or mentoring junior supply planners.
Required - 5+ years of working in Supply Chain specifically in the areas of forecasting, procurement, demand, and supply planning within a manufacturing environment.
Required - PowerBi experience - Advanced Reporting, DAX and Data Modeling
4+ years of experience in supply chain management, vendor relations and production planning or related job.
Required – minimum 2+ years of ERP experience SAP/S4HANA
Required - advanced Excel experience in reporting - PivotTables, PowerQuery, VBA Macros
Must be adaptable and flexible with the ability to work in a dynamic environment with constant changes.
Must be a problem solver mentality with an “outside of the box” mentality with a sense of priority and urgency.
Must have experience working with large data sets.
Must be capable of thriving in a very fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities while managing customer service.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
