Maintenance
Electrician
Pay: 33 - 39 /hr
Key Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot
ladder logic, read ladder diagrams, and identify electrical
components causing equipment issues.
·
Work with PLC5 RS Logic,
performing diagnostics and system adjustments to optimize performance.
·
Inspect and maintain
proximity switches, limit switches, and variable speed drives (VSD)
to ensure reliable operation.
·
Troubleshoot 480V AC motors,
diagnose faults, and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
·
Wire and configure 480V
motors, ensuring proper installation and adherence to
electrical standards.
·
Collaborate with maintenance
teams, including electricians and mechanics, to resolve complex
electrical issues.
Qualifications:
· Strong knowledge
of electrical systems, control equipment, and fluid control mechanisms.
· Ability to interpret
technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts.
· Familiarity with insulating
materials, soldering techniques, and replacement parts management.
· Physical ability to complete lift
tests and pulmonary function assessments.
· Comfortable with rotating
shift schedules and mandatory overtime as needed.

Rotating Shift Schedule – Industrial
Facility
Our facility operates on a Dupont/swing shift schedule, designed
to balance work and rest periods efficiently. Employees follow a rotating
shift structure with 12-hour shifts (7 AM–7 PM for days, 7 PM–7 AM for
nights). Due to the rotational nature of the schedule, not everyone starts
on a Monday.
Example Shift Rotation:
Monday – Thursday: Dayshift
7 days off
Friday – Monday: Nightshift
3 days off
Friday – Sunday: Dayshift
1 day off
Tuesday – Thursday: Nightshift
3 days off
Additional Scheduling Details:
Depending on department needs, employees may be assigned to straight day shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) or rotating schedules based on management decisions.
Work Environment:
Heavy industrial setting with non-climate-controlled areas; some locations may be hot due to equipment and outdoor climate.
Culture: Supportive work environment where employees collaborate across departments and treat one another like family.
Dress Code: Steel-toe boots, hardhat, safety glasses, earplugs, additional PPE depending on department.
Interview Process:
Candidates take an assessment test and must score 50% or higher to proceed.
Onsite interview immediately following the test for qualified candidates.
Onsite drug test after the interview for those who receive an offer.
Interview attire: Khakis, button-down shirt, steel-toe boots.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $78000.00/yr.
- 9.58% shift differential once they move onto swing shift (Approximately an extra 3/hr)
- They can test every 6 months to test into higher tech level and get pay increase
- Only non-union smelter facility in the U.S
- 401K matches 6%. Benefits start on Day 1 (Full medical, dental and vision coverage – very competitive benefits and multiple options. You can get full copy during interview)
- $300 tool stipend each year

- If you work 6 days in a row, on your 6th day you are paid x1.75. If you work 7 days in a row, your 7th day is double pay
