Picker/Packer Job Summary

Our company is searching for a Picker/Packer to help us with our shipping and receiving operations. In this position, you will work in our distribution center, packing, labeling, and scanning outgoing shipments. Our ideal applicant has a general warehouse or order-picking experience. You also need to be able to work in a loud trucking environment when loading shipments.

Picker/Packer Duties and Responsibilities

Receive orders for outgoing shipments

Find the products on our warehouse shelves

Pack the products and apply a label

Scan the label and put the package on an outgoing truck

Log orders to keep the inventory up-to-date

Picker/Packer Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)

Warehouse or assembly line experience

A keen eye for detail

Strong organizational skills
