ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for Test Engineer candidates who will perform RF tests on satellite system components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.

Must have an active, current Secret Clearance.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

All candidates will perform the following duties:

Create test plans, test cases, and test procedures to validate/verify performance.

Conduct functional, regression, and acceptance tests.

Create automated tools to characterize system performance and verify functionality.

Validate automated tools quality assurance and maintain proper version control.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

All candidates will have the following minimum skills:

Four (4) years of recent specialized experience in engineering and testing integration.

Have basic Government Computer (GC) connectivity troubleshooting skills.

Have network troubleshooting skills and knowledge of networks.

Have technical documentation skills.

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork.

Work well independently or as a member of a team environment

Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Certified Engineer
