Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst opening for our client in San Jose, CA.
Location: San Jose, CA-onsite
Duration: 8 months
Hours: M-F, 8AM-5PM PST
Duties:
Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis.
Produce intelligence products at tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
Gather and synthesize information from multiple threat intelligence types, sources, and collection methods.
Utilize open-source tools such as Shodan, Maltego, PassiveTotal, and VirusTotal in day-to-day activities.
Apply CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence) tools like Anomali to support intelligence collection and analysis.
Follow and apply intelligence lifecycle best practices and analytic frameworks, including the Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, and MITRE ATT&CK.
Collaborate closely with team members and other stakeholders to provide actionable intelligence insights.
Clearly and effectively communicate complex findings both in writing and verbally to a variety of audiences.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to conduct open-source intelligence collection and analysis.
Ability to produce high-quality intelligence reports at various levels (tactical, operational, strategic).
Familiarity with threat intelligence gathering methods and information sources.
Basic knowledge of open-source intelligence tools (Shodan, Maltego, PassiveTotal, VirusTotal).
Good understanding and hands-on experience with CTI tools such as Anomali.
Solid grasp of the intelligence lifecycle and analytic methodologies (Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, ATT&CK framework).
Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex technical information clearly.
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience as a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) analyst.
At least 2 years of experience working with CTI tools such as Anomali.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55 to $70/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
