Job Description

Solvet Services, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking experienced and adaptable Pharmacy Technicians to support a federal correctional healthcare program in Anthony, TX (near El Paso).

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays

7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including a 30-minute non-paid lunch

Up to 40 hours per week

Schedule may vary based on institutional needs; flexibility required

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Pharmacy Technician services in accordance with standards and practices accepted by the profession, and in compliance with all federal and state regulations

Support the pharmacist in ordering, stocking, and dispensing medications while following Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Formulary guidelines

Maintain cleanliness and organization of all pharmacy areas and ensure up-to-date medications across the main pharmacy and satellite locations

Prepare unit-dose or pre-packaged medications and assist in filing Medication Administration Records (MARs)

Track inventory for narcotics, syringes, and medical supplies; restock “night stock” cabinets and perform audits as needed

Accurately input data into the electronic medical records system and track patient care scheduling

Perform clerical duties such as scanning, filing, patient call-outs, and maintaining stock records

Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities as directed

Be available for emergency coverage and willing to adapt to a changing schedule within the correctional setting

Required Qualifications:

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (NPTC)

At least three (3) years of Pharmacy Technician experience

Current CPR certification

Strong computer and data entry skills

Ability to work professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds in a secure environment

Must pass a federal background check and have a favorable credit history

Prior experience in a correctional facility is preferred but not required

Pay: $22.00-$24.00
