Description Unit information \nPortage Medical Center Stepdown unit is a 30-bed unit with all private rooms and an average 4-5 patient ratio.
The SDU provides care to a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to: cardiac diseases, pulmonary, renal, trauma, neurovascular and post-surgical care.

\nCurrent BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
