Job Description
We are seeking a CNC Machinist with programming ability for a 1st shift position. The ideal candidate will operate numerically controlled machine tools and perform a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diverse line of work to close and exacting tolerance and finish specifications. The role involves checking parts for conformance to specifications, running multiple units simultaneously, and programming CNC 3 Axis vertical mills. Additionally, you will set up and operate CNC Vertical Mills, understand Fanuc and G&M codes, perform quality checks, make machine offsets, and read and understand part designs. A functional familiarity with CAD is also required.
Responsibilities
Operate numerically controlled machine tools
Perform complex series of progressive machining operations on a diverse line of work
Check parts for conformance to specifications
Run more than one unit simultaneously
Program CNC 3 Axis vertical mills
Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mills
Understand Fanuc and G&M codes
Perform quality checks and make machine offsets as necessary
Read and understand part designs
Maintain functional familiarity with CADEssential Skills
High School Diploma
3 years of direct hands-on experience with CNC Vertical Mills
3 years of experience with tool changes, edits of G&M codes, offsets, and blueprint reading
Programming with WorkNC CAM or RTM/Lemoine CAM SoftwareAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Fidia, Heidenhain, or Fanuc machine controls
3+2 5-axis machining experience
Experience with machining of 3D contour surfaces
Experience with injection mold core/cavity/component and/or model machining

We offer direct hire positions with good benefits and optional Sunday overtime at double time. Enjoy a balanced work week of 56 hours from Monday to Saturday.
Work Environment
Our campus includes two mold build shops and one production shop. This position operates in a warehouse and manufacturing environment where eye and ear protection is provided if needed. Closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times. The second shift operates with a lower head count, with a group size of about 12.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
