Toonen Companies Inc., a regional leader in the development, construction, and management of multi-family apartment communities, is seeking a full-time or part-time, experienced Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant to work out of our Green Bay office.
Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the full accounts payable cycle including verifying, coding, posting, and paying all vendor invoices, including a multi-card credit card account, on a weekly basis.
In addition, this position assists with various accounting-related projects and functions as needed and is responsible for the preparation of various Excel and Word-related documents on a regular basis.
This position is an integral part of a small office team and as such assists with general office functions such as processing mail, answering phones, etc.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of accounts payable and/or general accounting experience.
Associates degree in accounting is a plus.
Experience within a real estate development & management company is a plus.
Experience in a small company, small office environment a plus.
Must be able to work independently but at the same time be willing to be a team player and pitch in to help where needed.
Must possess strong attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be highly organized.
