Job Description
Provide technical and mechanical support for manufacturing and assembly processes throughout the plant. Verify and improve manufacturing processes using your knowledge of machining, materials, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Collaborate with plant personnel to produce the highest quality product in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
Provide technical and mechanical support for manufacturing and assembly processes.
Verify and improve manufacturing processes.
Utilize knowledge of machining, materials, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
Collaborate with plant personnel to achieve efficient and cost-effective production.
Ensure the production of the highest quality product.
Maintain a presence on the production floor, directly interacting with the product.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Quality experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
Experience and knowledge of ISO/AS9100 Rev. D Quality System requirements.
Proven understanding of machining/fabrication and related inspection methods.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedures.
Ability to write procedures, reports, and correspondence.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems.
Work Environment
This is a working position in a fast-paced environment, requiring you to be on the floor, directly interacting with the product a significant amount of time. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lees Summit, Missouri.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
