Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant
Job Description
The Tool Crib Attendant receives, stores, sets up kits, and issues hand tools, machine tools, materials, and equipment used in manufacturing processes. The role includes assembling kits of tools for specific jobs, issuing tools and equipment to workers, and maintaining records of tools and equipment issued and returned. The attendant also prepares periodic inventory, receives and stores incoming tools, inspects and measures tools for defects, and maintains order and cleanliness of the tool crib.
Responsibilities
Assemble kits of tools for specific jobs according to instructions
Issue tools and equipment to workers and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned
Prepare periodic inventory or maintain perpetual inventory of tools and equipment
Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, and requisition stock to replenish inventory from the tooling lead
Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear, and report damage or wear to supervisors
Deliver tools or equipment to workers
Mark and identify tools and equipment
Maintain order and cleanliness of tool crib
Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures
Perform other duties as assignedEssential Skills
Experience in inventory control and parts management
Mechanically inclined with good manual dexterity
Ability to use hand working tools (hammers, squares, scales, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
Dependable and responsible
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Capable of withstanding all weather variations, due to primarily working outdoors
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various facility and recycling systems

Work Environment
You will be working in a machine shop that manufactures structural parts for aerospace. The role primarily involves working outdoors, hence the ability to withstand all weather variations is essential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, Washington.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
