Die Setter / Punch Press Operator Shift: 1st & 2nd Pay: $23-$26

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automatic Die Setter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of punch press machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts.

Responsibilities

Perform proper setup of punch press machines

Conduct setups of transfer dies

Use hand tools to set and clamp dies, make machine adjustments, and perform die changeovers

Load coils and thread to machine

Install lube sprayers, die protection, sensors, part and scrap systems

Utilize micrometers and calipers to check quality and run first piece inspections

Verify punch press control settings (Smart Pac II or Link 5000)

Report non-conforming quality findings

Adhere to safety procedures

Operate machines to produce quality partsEssential Skills

Punch press setup experience

Previous operation experience of Automatic Punch Press machines

Experience with Punch press control operations (Smart Pac II or Link 5000)

Die setting experience with Transfer Dies

High School Diploma or GED

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
